Customize Store Colors:
(Menu option "Set Store Colors")

Customizing your stores colors and fonts.

Your store has built in customization capabilities for setting the background images, colors and fonts. You can also specify the height of the top frame as well as the Width of the left navigation frame to accommodate your storetop.htm page and your button images, If you choose to use any.

There are two graphical displays that will show most of the settings as you change them. These are not to scale and they are for reference only.

Sections:

 Colors

Product Results Page
The "Product Results Page" is the area that displays your products when a Category Link is clicked.

You can customize the background color, the cell color that contains the Category Title, and you can apply a background image as well. Be sure to upload your background image file with the upload utility.

Store Navigation
The "Store Navigation" is the Navigation Frame on the left side of your store, it contains the category links to your products.

You can customize the background color, the color of the font used in the nav frame, as well as specify an image to use as the home and view cart buttons if you should choose not to use the standard text links. Be sure to upload your home and view cart image files with the upload utility.

Note on the use of buttons in the Nav Frame:
Please understand my concern on this. This aspect of your store is the working portion of your business it may or may not be the actual store front. If you are linking to this from a home page I would suggest you keep a couple of things in mind.
Most surveys of on line shoppers indicate that if pages load slow they are more prone to leave and shop elsewhere instead of waiting for each page to load. this being the inside of your store, they have already gotten through the front door so to speak. Try not to dazzle them so much with your artistic touch but with the fantastic products you have to offer them.
One way to accomplish this is if you should choose to use images as buttons instead of the standard text, please keep them relatively small both in size and in file size. This will assure there quick load times and not distract from the products. As well it may keep them shopping longer.

Shopping Cart
The shopping cart itself can have the following color customizations:

The background and font color of the tile frame which consists of the headings Product Name, Quantity, Unit price, and Total. As well as the grand total title cell

The background and font color of the Line Items, this is where the products they select shows in the cart.

The background and font color of the total dollar value of there order.

Fonts
the following font styles can be specified:

Product results page, Left Navigation frame, and the Shopping cart.

Note:
The font options given are safe web fonts that most browsers recognize. You will not see any fancy fonts listed as web pages "Do Not!" download fonts. If the computer of the person viewing the web page does not have the same font installed as you specify on your web page, they will not see it and there browser will display the default font in the browsers settings.

Frames Setup
In order to accommodate your custom created top frames page and the width of the buttons you use as links the height of the top frames page as well as the width of the left nav frame are customizable.

Please keep your top page (storetop.htm) and your button widths with in reason. If you use a large top page or wide buttons you will take away from the actual products page, which is the reason they are there in the first place.

Product Paging Display
This setting controls the number of items to display per page. Again this is done to allow your products to load quickly. You can specify any number between 1 and 99 per page. I recommend between 4 and 6 to allow a quick load time of pages.
