New in Version 3.0:

* Store Enhancements *
* Revised In-Stock Quantity Adjustment:
In an effort to decrease the possibility that a customer can fill their cart and just drain your in-stock items, I think I have come up with a fair solution.

The Original Problem:
Originally when a customer dropped some goods into their cart it would increment the committed qty which in turn reduced your On Hand Qty. this was done in an effort to assure the customer that they would be able to purchase what they put into their cart. However there has been a large amount if nasty customers that would just fill their cart and run out of the store. Leaving your Available stock looking like it has been sold.

The Solution:
To help alleviate the extra work this causes you the store owner to restock your shelves is this:

Now when a customer drops the goods in their cart they are actually dropping virtual goods now instead of the actual product. As they continue shopping other customers may also place these same goods into their cart. Now the first customer goes to the check out counter to complete the order. The store will look at what is "Now" left in stock and if the qty they put into their cart is still below the available on hand, then no problem they can check out, pickup their goods and run to the bank (Mal's) to pay you. At this time the store will reduce the "On Hand" Qty, and will increase the "Committed" qty. When they finish the transaction at Mal's and Mal's returns the information to your store, the Qty Committed will be reduced and the qty sold will be incremented And everyone is happy.

However if they do not finish at Mal's but instead hold up the bank and run off with your goods you can "Reverse the order" in the store admin manager to restock your shelves.

Now Customer number two that had picked the same items to buy goes to the check out counter, however the qty available is now less than what they wanted to buy. So instead of being able to check out they will be presented with a button that they can click which will automatically adjust the qty in their cart to match the available "On Hand" qty. and they can purchase the remaining balance. I'm Sorry to customer two, but this action will reduce the amount of work that you will have to do in order to keep your In-Stock qty's correct.

Of course if you are not running In-Stock on the item this procedure will have no effect on their shopping experience.

* Two Pictures per Products:
Jeanette from "The Pouting Shed" took me up on my offer to make suggestions. she came up with a very good idea. She asked if we could have 2 pictures per product so she could do a front and back shot if desired. So guess what you can now (When I install the upgrades) have 2 Pictures per product.

* Picture Pages:
Picture Pages let you create, edit and remove Pages that can contain 3 columns and an unlimited number of rows of pictures and descriptions for each picture.

Ideal For:
Picture Pages are an ideal method of presenting to your customers graphical representations of your products, or product options.

An example may be that you have several fabrics available for your product. By creating a Picture Page to house the pictures of the fabrics your customers will have a more vivid idea as to the look of the fabric.

Another use may be to show several different views of your product, such as Front, Sides, Back, and so forth.
